Why this exists
The meeting that repeats
The bill goes up. Finance asks why. Engineering rebuilds the numbers in a spreadsheet and traces the change back to an earlier deployment. Everyone agrees to look into costs. The explanation is found, but the process has to be repeated the following month.
Companies large enough for cloud spend to matter, but not large enough to justify a full-time FinOps hire, face this problem repeatedly. Provider consoles answer provider-specific questions, while broader platforms can bring more scope and operating overhead than the team needs. That gap is what Costfluent is for.
It is deliberately one person. You talk to the engineer who reads your numbers and writes the code, which means the answers are direct and the roadmap is short. A small company that tries to do everything does nothing well, so this one does six things.

Say what is true
No invented customer counts, no invented savings percentages, no compliance badges we have not earned. There are no example figures anywhere on this site, because a number you cannot verify is worse than no number. It makes the marketing harder. It is still the right trade.
Deterministic first
Money is calculated, never generated. Every amount stays traceable to imported billing data, allocation rules, budgets, and the underlying provider records.
Narrow on purpose
Six questions. Everything else is somebody else's product, and we will tell you which one rather than build a worse version of it to keep you on the page.
European by default
Euro pricing, intentionally written English and German content, and product limits stated before procurement has to ask.
Where things stand
Honest about the stage
Costfluent is early software. AWS and Azure connections, cost reports, allocation rules, budgets, insights, savings work, team access, and scheduled report delivery are available today. Planned capabilities are labelled plainly.
The product is self-service, with a permanent Free plan for a small environment. Paid upgrades are introduced only when their checkout and entitlements are ready end to end.
