Savings
Turn savings ideas into owned decisions
Keep each savings opportunity in one queue with its evidence, estimated monthly saving, owner and decision, so estimates stay separate from results.

The action gap
A recommendation list is not a savings result
Estimates look like outcomes
An opportunity value is useful for prioritization, but it is not money saved until the change is implemented and measured.
The owner is missing
An idea without a responsible team remains in the queue regardless of its estimated value.
Decisions disappear
Accepted, implemented and rejected actions need a recorded status so the same work is not repeated.
Lifecycle
Six states, six different meanings
Open
Recorded with evidence and an estimate, waiting for a decision.
Accepted
Your team has agreed to make the change.
Implemented
The change is made. The saving is still the estimate.
Rejected
Declined while open or accepted, with the reason recorded.
Verified
For Custom: a measurement against actual cost confirms the saving.
Withdrawn
The provider stopped recommending it before anyone acted on it. It reopens if recommended again.
In the product
Keep the decision attached to the opportunity
Record an opportunity
Record a savings opportunity with its evidence, estimated monthly saving and cost basis, and revise it until it is decided.
Name an owner
Keep the owner of the affected cost beside the proposed action.
Accept or reject
Record the decision, with the reason when an opportunity is rejected.
Mark as implemented
Separate accepted work from changes your team has made.
Curated recommendations
For Business: reviewed savings opportunities added to your queue.
Savings verification
For Custom: measure cost after implementation and record the verified saving beside the original estimate.
