What is read
The agent reads nodes, pods, namespaces and kubelet metrics. Reports include node, pod and container identities, resource requests and usage, and allowed pod labels. Annotation and namespace-label collection is configurable.
Access you grant
The Helm chart grants cluster-wide read access. Uploads use outbound HTTPS and an organization API token with Report Kubernetes usage. Keep the token in a Kubernetes Secret.
How to connect
Install one agent per cluster with Helm and a cluster ID unique within your organization. Its first report registers the cluster; enable that source in the workspaces that need it.
Limits and removal
No pod-level cost allocation is promised. Cost processing runs nightly; unpriced nodes are reported as unpriced. Filter reports to cloud billing or Kubernetes to avoid counting the same nodes twice. The agent sends no images, environment variables, Secrets, ConfigMaps, logs or network traffic. To stop collection, uninstall the agent and revoke its token.
